A: This kit uses MX connectors with a 1.25mm pitch. They are not directly compatible with JST-GH connectors, since they have different dimensions and configurations. MX connectors are common in flight systems such as Pixhawk and APM, but if your system uses JST-GH, you will need adapters or JST-GH-specific cables.
Q: The kit includes wires of different colors. Can I use any color combination for my connections, or is there a recommended standard to make identifying the signals easier?
A: You can use any color combination you like, since the kit lets you customize the wire order. However, we recommend following a common coloring standard in the FPV community to make signal identification easier (for example, red for positive, black for negative, white/yellow/blue for signals). This simplifies troubleshooting and maintenance.
Q: How many wires of each pin count (2P, 3P, etc.) are included in the kit? Is it enough to connect all the peripherals of a typical drone (GPS, telemetry, OSD, etc.)?
A: The kit includes: 20 wires each of 2P, 3P, 4P, 5P and 6P; 10 wires each of 7P, 8P, 9P and 10P. The quantity is generally enough to connect the common peripherals of an FPV drone (GPS, telemetry, OSD, power modules, optical flow sensors, etc.). However, if you have a drone with many peripherals or plan to build several drones, you may need to buy additional kits.
