In addition, being the thickest (16mm), it offers better thermal protection and cushioning.
Q: What kind of soldering can I do on this mat without damaging it and what is its temperature limit?
A: This silicone mat is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 500°C, which makes it suitable for most soldering used in FPV drone repair, including tin, lead and more modern alloy solders. However, we recommend avoiding solders that require extremely high temperatures or prolonged direct flames, as they could degrade the silicone over time.
