Frame kit Five33 LightSwitch Lite
Description
Why LightSwitch?
The design constraints were simple. Lighter, stronger, more convenient, and at whatever cost that implies. We wanted to chase the next level of racing frame.
Starting from scratch with a new frame this year was quite a challenge, but with the team of incredible pilots we gathered, the good ideas never stopped flowing! We were so confident in our first prototype that we bought dozens of frames to equip our pilots, only to find a fatal design flaw that forced us to scrap the design entirely, which was pretty discouraging. But we didn't stop. Once Armando started sketching on napkins, I knew something spectacular was around the corner. And so the LiteSwitch was born! The list of world-class pilots flying these at IO will leave no doubt about the legitimacy of this new model, and you can keep an eye out for all the podium posts throughout the week.
Time is everyone's biggest enemy on the track; every second counts. If you want to cut milliseconds, invest in the gear and the company that does it every weekend! Many thanks to our amazing customer base as we approach 3 years in business; we wouldn't be where we are without all of you, and we can't wait for the next 30!
By making the switch:
- Noical cut 20g
- Shames cut 21g
- Mondo cut 15g
- Headsup cut 15g
- MCK cut 15g
So, make the “light switch”!
The T700 lite arms use T700 carbon instead of 7300 arms, for those willing to spare no expense to have the most premium frame. These are for you.
What's new?
Montaje simplificado
SSRS v1.7

¡El Shames Strain Relief System (Shames Stress Relief System)! Shames has nightmares about ripping ESC pads off in crashes, so we tested and tested until we optimized the SSRS system for the LightSwitch.
TPU parts that “eat the wiggle”

Team pilots MCK, Propsicle and Noical fly thousands of packs a week and found that earlier versions of our wiggle plate wore out after several arm swaps. We take arm wiggle seriously at 533, so we developed the “Wiggle Eater”! The small TPU pieces are compressed between the spine and the bottom plate to fill any gap and keep the arms locked in place.

Preguntas Frecuentes (FAQ)
Q: What motor and ESC sizes are compatible with the Five33 LightSwitch Lite frame, considering its lightweight design and racing focus?
A: The Five33 LightSwitch Lite is designed for 2207-2306 size motors with a KV between 2400-2700KV. We recommend using 45A or higher ESCs to handle these motors' current demand, especially in aggressive flying setups. Although it can support larger motors, this would compromise the light weight that is a key feature of the frame.
Q: What is the main difference between the T700 Lite arms and the standard T300 arms of the LightSwitch Lite, and what type of pilot would benefit most from the T700 arms?
A: The T700 Lite arms use T700 carbon fiber, while the standard arms use T300. T700 fiber is stiffer and lighter than T300, resulting in greater responsiveness and precision in flight. The T700 arms are ideal for advanced or professional-level pilots looking to maximize performance and precision, and who are willing to invest in the most premium frame possible. The weight difference is noticeable, but it comes at an additional cost.
Q: What is SSRS v1.7 (Shames Strain Relief System) and how does it improve the frame's durability and ease of maintenance?
A: SSRS v1.7 (Shames Strain Relief System) is a strain relief system designed to protect the cables and connections of the flight board and ESCs. It consists of a design that reduces stress on solder and connection points, preventing breakage and failures due to the vibrations and forces generated during flight. This makes maintenance easier, since it reduces the likelihood of having to re-solder or replace components damaged by stress.
