A: The NoHead Hantu frame is compatible with brushless motors from 1806 to 2804 (KV2000~2300). For more agile, acrobatic flying, motors with a higher KV, close to 2300, are recommended. For more endurance-oriented flying, we suggest using motors with a lower KV, around 2000. The final choice will depend on your flying style and the battery size you use.
Q: The NoHead Hantu frame has 30x30mm mounting holes for the flight controller. Is it compatible with flight controllers that have different mounting patterns, such as 20x20mm or 30.5×30.5mm?
A: The NoHead Hantu frame is designed specifically for flight controllers with a 30x30mm mounting pattern. If your flight controller has a different pattern, such as 20x20mm or 30.5×30.5mm, you will need to use adapters or intermediate mounting plates to ensure a correct, secure installation. Adapters are available on the market to convert between different mounting patterns.
Q: The frame says not to try to force the camera mount by hand. What does this imply and what type of mounting is recommended for the mini 700TVL camera?
A: The warning about not forcing the camera mount means the camera holder is designed to be adjusted with screws or a specific clamping system, not by hand pressure. Forcing it could damage the mount. For the mini 700TVL camera, we recommend using the appropriate screws (generally M2) and making sure the camera is firmly secured to the mount, avoiding excessive stress on the frame material.
