Preguntas Frecuentes (FAQ)

Q: What is the difference between the standard XT30 connector and the XT30UP used on this battery, and why is it an improvement?
A: The XT30UP is a custom Flywoo version that addresses the common problem of the original XT30 connector breaking. The main improvement is greater connection durability, thanks to a design that prevents accidental cable disconnection and makes insertion/removal more comfortable. It includes a genuine Amass XT30 sleeve that reinforces the connection.

Q: What does '80C' mean in the battery's discharge specification and how does it affect my FPV drone's performance?
A: '80C' refers to the battery's continuous discharge rate. It indicates the battery can supply 80 times its rated capacity (900mAh) in amps per hour. In this case, 80C x 900mAh = 72A. A higher discharge rate lets the battery deliver more power to the drone, which translates into better performance, acceleration and the ability to handle more demanding motors. It is crucial that the battery's discharge rate is equal to or higher than that required by your drone and its components.

Q: Is this battery compatible with chargers that don't have a JST-XHP-5P port? Do I need an adapter?
A: Yes, you will probably need an adapter if your charger does not have a JST-XHP-5P port. The JST-XHP-5P is this battery's specific charging connector. You can use a JST-XHP-5P to XT60 adapter, or to whichever connector is compatible with your charger. Make sure the adapter is good quality to avoid connection or safety problems during charging.
