Description
Explorer 550mAh LiHV 2S 80C Battery (Flywoo XT30UP)
Explorer series batteries are specially designed for long flight time and all are high voltage battery. Using this battery will give you a significant increase in flight time as well as a bit more power over the stock battery. We have upgraded the connector by replacing the original XT30 with the FLYWOO customized XT30UP. The new Flywoo XT30 Pigtail connector cable effectively resolves the issue of plug-in breakage. We have meticulously designed a compatible Amass genuine XT30 sheath that not only prevents cable detachment during use but also ensures a more comfortable and easier plugging and unplugging experience.

Preguntas Frecuentes (FAQ)
Q: What does the '80C' specification in the discharge rate mean and how does it affect my FPV drone's performance?
A: The '80C' specification indicates the battery's continuous discharge rate. In this case, 80C means the battery can deliver 80 times its rated capacity (550mAh) in amps per hour. That is, it can deliver up to 44A (550mAh * 80). A higher discharge rate lets the battery supply the power needed for rapid acceleration and demanding maneuvers, improving the drone's overall performance, especially in acrobatic flying. If your drone requires more current than the battery can provide, you may experience voltage sag and reduced performance.
Q: What is the difference between the full charge voltage (8.7V) and the storage voltage (7.6V) and why is it important to respect them?
A: The full charge voltage (8.7V) is the voltage to which the battery should be charged for maximum performance during flight. The storage voltage (7.6V) is the voltage to which the battery should be discharged when it will not be used for a long period. Storing the battery at a lower voltage helps prevent damage and extend its lifespan. Charging the battery to a voltage higher than recommended can permanently damage it, while storing it fully discharged can also reduce its capacity and lifespan.
Q: Is the XT30UP connector compatible with my existing batteries that use XT30 connectors? Is there any significant difference I should be aware of?
A: Yes, the XT30UP connector is compatible with standard XT30 connectors. The main difference is that the XT30UP is an improved version customized by Flywoo, designed to be more durable and break-resistant. The XT30UP's 'pigtail' cable is reinforced to keep it from disconnecting easily, a common problem with standard XT30 connectors. Although they are physically compatible, the XT30UP offers a more secure, reliable connection, reducing the risk of power interruptions during flight.
