10 cm XH balance lead for 4S or 6S LiPo
This XH balance lead has a female JST-XH plug on one end and loose wires on the other, to solder to the cells. It is 10 cm long in 22 AWG silicone. There is a 4S and a 6S version.
Use it to replace a battery’s balance lead when it gets cut, burnt or the plug breaks, and to build your own battery packs. JST-XH is the plug used by almost every LiPo charger.
The XH balance lead lets the charger measure each cell separately and balance them at the end of the charge. If a wire is frayed or a pin makes poor contact, the charger may throw an error or charge a cell badly, so replace it as soon as you see damage.

How to replace it safely
Work with the battery at storage voltage and swap the wires one at a time, following the cell order, to avoid a short circuit. Insulate each joint with heat shrink and check the voltages with a multimeter before charging.
