Description
iFlight M8Q-5883 V2.0 GPS with compass
The iFlight M8Q-5883 GPS is a small module for FPV drones with the SAM-M8Q chip and a built-in QMC5883L compass. It lets you use Betaflight’s GPS Rescue so the drone flies home if you lose signal, and see speed, distance and position on the OSD.
It has a high-sensitivity 15 × 15 mm ceramic antenna, an extra LNA amplifier and a capacitor that keeps data so a hot start takes under 2 s. It updates at 10 Hz and weighs just 8 g.

How to wire it
The GPS goes to a free UART on the flight controller, with TX and RX crossed, and the compass to the SDA and SCL pads. In Betaflight enable GPS on that port; the default baud rate is 9600. Mount it on top, away from the video and power wires, so it locks satellites quickly and the compass is not thrown off.
