The T-Motor F1404 is a small, light motor designed for micro long range, tiny trainers and 2.5 to 4-inch drones. Its 14 × 4 mm stator has enough torque for 3 and 4-inch props without the weight of a 5-inch motor, which extends flight time on light long-range builds.

Which KV to choose

The higher the KV, the more revs per volt, so it is used with fewer battery cells or smaller props. As a general rule, high KV suits 2S and 3S with 2.5 to 3-inch props, and low KV suits 4S with 3.5 to 4-inch props for long flights. Always check what your frame maker recommends.
