Motors, ESCs and voltage regulators put noise on the battery line, and that noise shows up in analogue video as lines, bands or dropouts, especially on throttle.

It uses a large inductor and capacitor and filters both the positive and negative lines. It goes in the power lead, between the battery or regulator and the camera or VTX, and drops very little voltage.

LC filter specifications

Voltage: up to 30 V

Current: up to 2 A

Filters both positive and negative

Reverse polarity protection

Weight: 0.5 g

Contents: 1 LC filter and 1 set of leads

When an LC filter helps

Mainly on analogue video drones that power the camera and VTX straight from the main battery, with long power leads or little room to keep wires apart. If the lines only appear when you throttle up, the noise is almost certainly coming through the power supply.

Frequently asked questions about the iFlight LC filter

Can I power the VTX and camera together?

Yes, as long as together they stay under 2 A. Check your VTX’s current draw at the power level you plan to use.

Does it work on 6S?

A charged 6S reaches 25.2 V, within the filter’s 30 V maximum.

More for your drone

BECs and regulators

iFlight products

FPV configurator: check which parts fit

iFlight official website

iFlight LC filter module for your camera and video transmitter power supply.
